NoSushi ButKushi
Although 'sushi' and 'kushi' sound similar, they represent two distinct culinary traditions. Since you have visited our website, we assume that you appreciate Japanese culture and are ready to discover the art of 'kushi'.
At Kushinoya Berlin, our speciality is kushi-age: kushi (串) means 'skewer', and age (揚げ) means 'deep-fried'.
To create this dish, we prepare bite-sized ingredients, coat them in breadcrumbs and deep-fry them to perfection.
True to Japanese tradition, we prioritise every detail. Our chef prepares over 20 varieties of ingredients, including Japanese Wagyu beef, fresh fish and unique seasonal vegetables. To ensure you experience the full freshness and flavour of our selection, we serve our dishes exclusively omakase-style (chef’s choice) — therefore course-only, with no à la carte.
Trust our expertise for a dining experience that will make you feel as if you are in Japan.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
